When your boss says to you at 1800 in the evening that your day off is tomorrow, I don’t hesitate, I know it will be a hike into the mountains. This week it was a long walk. I started early.. Went passed refuge de Goleze and there was a great path for whichway! Got up with some chains to the highest point and had some coffee
On the other side was a great view of Lac Vogealle and also dents d’Oddaz
I love it when I can walk for hours and it’s mountains, flowers, nature and I. I love that it is a safe and secure environment. At the moment the flowers are amazing so I can join Cee’s FOTD along the way.
Coming back you head up on the other side of the Goleze refuge with beautiful views of a farm and pathways for Sonofabeach96 whichway challenge. The butterflies are still flitting all over so am always on the look out for one that might just stay still long enough.. 😉

Such stunning walks. They remind me of walking above Interlaken (no surprise there). Does the chain act as a handhold? (!)
You could probably get up without the chain but nice comfort to hold on and pull yourself up rather than use the rocks ;-).
