They are doing shows with vultures, eagles, owls all winter everyday on the Nyon plateau in the ski area where I live. Quite amazing. I went up today on my day off to see what it was all about. Trying out a new camera so not many photos made the grade.. It can only get easier.. 😉
hahaha I went to an icerink outdoors after sunset the other day with my tripod.. Not one good photo.. all grainy and no focus.. I’ll stick to easier subjects next time.. 😉
Thanks Grammy.. It was fun and I’m still watching youtube after youtube to try teach myself.. I have never gone off auto before so trying to learn a bit more.. 😉
Woohoo! I can comment! (oh, and cool pictures!)

Wow, amazing photos! I love watching raptors in the wild.
Yes they do have some here too in the wilds that I see in summer when hiking.. but not so close.. 😉

These are the most beautiful perfect bird shots I have ever seen. You have captured the head and soul just wonderfully.
Thank YOU Merryn..
Fabulous photos, Lisa. These birds are so awesome. 🙂
Thank YOU.. I saw about 10 different kinds that day..
Well you certainly got two great shots. I think birds are hard to photograph since the’re never still. You caught it just right.
Yes I have lots of shots of no heads, just wings.. 😉
Stunning photos, the bottom one is my favourite.
Thank YOU.. It is a lucky good shot..
Your photos have amazing details, Lisa!
