We got up really early and headed out before sunrise, speeding across the desert. When we got out the bus at Dune 45 I managed to head up the dune in front for the sunrise spot. So blessed to be up there first with the long line trailing behind..Â
We had breakfast ready by the big bus on the way down from the dune. That meant time spent exploring the surrounds and taking more photos. People still heading up after we were long down.. The white sand is apparently the local sand and the red sand blew in hundreds of years ago to create the dunes
This could have been us early in the morning.. 😉
Wow! Beautiful! And so much sand! Glad the wind wasn’t blowing!
The day we left the wind howled.. I definitely got a sand blasting.. 😉
Ouch!
I don’t have a ‘like’ comment so need to sort that out today.. 😉
